Logically ‘its’ can only refer to the cube but we agree that there is a technical problem with this because the noun ‘cube’ is not mentioned anywhere in the sentence. We will be making this change in the next edition of the SC Grail.

I just noticed 2 things -

1)”After its intl debut” is a modifier and should be immediately followed by the thing it modifies. It is followed by “The progress of cube” which sound illogical. Same for “Since its intl debut”.. Eliminates all but D.

2) “Its” has been used in all sentences. Being in possessive form,”Its” can only represent a possesive noun that occurs only in option D. Possessive noun is “Cube’s”. This strengthen option D as answer.

Let me know if you agree/disagree with me somewhere.
